China Telecom and Ubitus Team Up to Build World's Largest Cloud Gaming Kingdom
GUANGZHOU, China, June 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Ubitus Inc., the technology leader that provide cloud gaming solutions, today announced a partnership with China Telecom in 2012 Tianyi (E-surfing) 3G Handset Fair & Mobile Internet Forum to deliver cloud gaming on connected TVs in China. The service is expected to launch in October 1st 2012 during the Chinese Golden week holiday.

At the current time, console manufacturers could not introduce their products into China due to local regulations; foreign game publishers and developers are also facing similar challenges. Ubitus GameCloud® specializes in rendering games requiring heavy graphics processing on the cloud into streaming videos. China Telecom and Ubitus will initially collaborate with Skyworth, KONKA and LG to demonstrate the premier HD gaming service over cloud at the Fair. Visitors can experience a rich library of game titles, including fighting, racing, sport games, RPG, FPS and casual games. There will also be daily tournaments of Super Street Fighter 4 AE.
