Newborn heirloom gown and hat from the Tim Collection seen on episode of "The Office."
GIG HARBOR, Wash., March 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Christening Gowns.com, the maker of high quality designer christening gowns for girls and boys, has announced that one of its outfits was recently featured on the popular NBC TV show "The Office."
As part of the Tim Collection created by designer Roberta Salton, founder of Christening Gowns.com, the traditional heirloom christening gown and cap were featured on the "Vandalism" episode, which aired on Thursday, January 31, 2013. On the show, the character named Angela and her husband, a senator, chose to dress their son in the Tim gown and brim hat for his first birthday party.
"The Tim gown is one of our most popular traditional heirloom christening gowns for boys," said Russ Salton of Christening Gowns.com. "It would seem that they chose the gown to show that the character's family is very grand, so they put their son in a dramatic and elegant outfit, making him stand out."
This designer baby gown is made of silk dupioni and blue and ivory silk-satin ribbons. It is a full-length outfit that drops well below the baby's feet for a more striking look. The bodice is adorned with satin-covered buttons. The white color of the skirt is traditional, signifying purity and elegance. The matching silk dupioni hat has a soft elastic band that gathers in the back for a comfortable and stylish fit. The hat's front brim is topped with a blue band. A satin-covered button in the center of the band completes the look.
The Tim Collection also features a layette gown, bib, booties, jacket, jumpsuit and blanket, which are all made in the U.S. and are available on the Christening Gowns.com website.
