(NYSE: OMC), today announced that Christina Liao has joined the firm as senior vice president and senior partner, director of applied data. In this role, she will lead FleishmanHillard's global research and analytics practice and will manage the firm's growing alliance with fellow Omnicom agency Annalect, a data, technology and analytics solutions company.

Liao brings to the position nearly two decades of experience in the measurement and analytics field. She joins FleishmanHillard from The Coca-Cola Co., where she headed its knowledge and insights team. In her role at Coca-Cola, she worked extensively on determining ROI across the PESO (paid, earned, shared, owned media) model. Before that, she was the vice president of analytics and insights for CMI, a market research firm that uses numerous approaches to help companies better define the ideal customer experience. In the course of her career, she has worked in both the private and public sectors and served clients in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, insurance, utilities and financial services. Liao teaches at the annual American Marketing Association Advanced School of Marketing Research and is a sought-after speaker on the topic of research and analytics.
