CITGO Introduces CITGO Good Rewards Program For Visa Account Holders

HOUSTON, May 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CITGO Petroleum is launching CITGO Good Rewards, a summer promotion that allows consumers to earn CITGO Gift Cards with eight minimum purchases of $20 or more made with a Visa card enrolled in the program. Running from June 1 through Sept. 20 in all CITGO markets, the program is designed to give customers even more reasons to visit their locally owned CITGO stations for quality fuel.

"We know that summer is an ideal time to offer rewards for consumers who shop at one of the almost 6,000 locally owned CITGO stations," said Alan Flagg, general manager of light oils marketing for CITGO. The program utilizes the Visa Offers real-time messaging platform to confirm qualified purchases and keep account holders up-to-date on their progress toward earning a gift card.Starting June 1, customers can enroll in the program at www.CITGOGoodRewards.com, register up to three eligible Visa cards and provide a mobile phone number to receive updates via SMS text messages. After eight purchases of $20 or more between June 1 and Sept. 20 with their enrolled Visa card, consumers will receive redemption instructions for a $15 CITGO Gift Card.
