WASHINGTON, Nov. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National League of Cities (NLC) will hold its 2012 Congress of Cities and Exposition conference, November 28-December 1 in Boston, MA. The conference brings thousands of city officials together from across the country to share resources and explore the challenges and opportunities facing cities today.
The conference will offer programs and workshops featuring civic leaders and municipal experts from across the US. Additional highlights include mobile tours showcasing successful and innovative initiatives from the City of Boston, an extensive Exhibit Hall with the latest products and services for municipal governments and the annual City Showcase recognizing the achievements of 27 model civic programs nationwide.
During the conference NLC will also elect its new leadership and approve the organization's National Municipal Policy—a compilation of federal policy positions adopted by NLC membership—at its annual business meeting on Saturday, December 1.
