MILWAUKEE, Feb. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Corey Zetts, Executive Director of Menomonee Valley Partners will flip the ceremonial first switch for the City Lights Brewing Company sign, recently installed high atop the "Tower Building." The lighting ceremony will be Thursday, February 16th at 5PM.
City Lights Brewing Company President Robin Gohsman said, "I couldn't be happier that Corey has accepted our invitation and will be here to 'light the lights.' Corey and her team have been a tremendous resource as we establish City Lights in the heart of the vibrant and robust Menomonee River Valley."
Corey Zetts added, "The City Lights sign is a welcoming beacon for a revitalized Valley, literally and metaphorically shining a light on the transformed Menomonee Valley. The Valley has embraced its industrial past while evolving to create a bright new future, in the same spirit that Robin and the City Lights team lovingly restored this former coal gasification plant as a state-of-the-art brewery. We couldn't be more excited to have City Lights become one of the Valley's iconic places."
The "old school" sign will be erected high atop the 5 story, octagonal "Tower Building" on the City Lights campus. The letters for "City Lights" will be 3 feet, 9 inches tall, illuminated with white LED bulbs. The sign was manufactured and installed by Poblocki Sign Company. The sign is visible to the occupants of the 250,000 cars passing by each day on I-94.
