The City's Leisure Services Department collaborates annually with the Piatigorsky Foundation from New York City to provide performers for the annual classical concert. This year's classical concert will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Hagen Park and will feature the musical talents of Katharine Dain, a highly praised and experienced soprano, and Jeffrey Grossman, a pianist, who co-leads the acclaimed baroque ensemble "The Sebastians."

The classical concert is free, and refreshments will be served.

The Live Music at Mickel concerts will be held on the third Friday of each month, from January to March 2016, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the concert pavilion in Mickel Park. The series kicks off on Friday, January 15, 2016 with the Ty Billings Band, a local, high-energy, live band who will perform rock and classic rock hits.

"One of the goals of our city is to offer unique programing that encourages a sense of community and the exploration of our public spaces," said Mayor Gary Resnick. "This concert series will offer our residents an opportunity to enjoy this newly renovated park and concert pavilion while socializing with members of their community."
