From 1990 to 1997, Claude occupied the positions of Vice president, Restructuring and VP/General Manager, Strategic Initiatives - International Development and Technical Optimization for Domtar Inc. His positions prior to Domtar include a role as President of Noma Inc. (USA) in Tennessee and a place on the Board of Directors of Noma Industries Ltd. in Toronto. He was also appointed the Architect of Restructuring and Strategic Measures for Noma Outdoor Products, a company with revenues of 250$ million (US). Previously, Claude was Director for BF Goodrich Canada, Chemical Group and was also Vice president, Integration in Akron Ohio. In this role, Claude successfully completed the merger between Uniroyal/Goodrich Tires and Michelin in 1986.
Claude is a graduate of Laval University and has a Certificate from Harvard Business School. He is also a graduate from Deming Quality School at MIT. Presently, he serves on the Board of Directors of numerous public companies and acts as a strategic advisor to several family companies.
