SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearOne (NASDAQ: CLRO), a global provider of audio and visual communication solutions, announced today that it has been awarded a new patent relating to ClearOne's audio spatial rendering conferencing technology.
On August 30, 2016, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") issued United States Patent number 9,432,237, which relates to a system and method in which two or more communication devices exchange information about the relative spatial positions of their respective microphones and speakers, send a number of microphone audio signals from a transmitter to a receiver, and render the received number of microphone audio signals among the receiver-side speakers.
