The company also announced the opening of its Chicago office, a Midwest complement to its Providence, R.I. Intelligent IT- Business Evolution Center. Located at 707 Skokie Boulevard in Northbrook, IL, the office will house senior management and product development and serve as headquarters for CSL's Gainsharing business unit.
Heise has more than 20 years' experience as an entrepreneur launching and building high tech companies serving the financial services, insurance and real estate markets. He also is co-founder and a member of the Board of Directors of Pristine Consulting, a Gambian-based provider of software development and IT consulting services.
"Tom will help Cloud Silver Lining build operational excellence while providing insight into the IT and business needs of financial sector companies," said Bob Shinn, Senior Managing Partner and Founder, Cloud Silver Lining. "His track record of building high-value companies and his deep network in the investment community will be assets as CSL expands operations in the US and Europe."
Prior to founding Pristine, Heise co-founded and served as President of RiveNet.com, a technology company connecting financial institutions and corporations through a proprietary network developed to administer deferred compensation plans and the financial products that fund them, and The Bermuda Commodities Exchange. The Exchange offered its members the opportunity to conduct trading in option contracts based on an index of insured homeowner losses due to atmospheric perils. Trading was done via an automated, electronic system that connected members in a "virtual open outcry" arrangement, which was web-based and built in 1996.
Mr. Heise began his career at American International Group and Arthur Anderson & Co. He is a graduate of Northwestern University.
