cloudTP and Cloudscaling Complete First Two Joint Initiatives with One of the World's Largest Electronics Companies and a Major International Telco

Each project that the two companies deploy will include a combination of cloudTP's assessment, architecture, integration, migration and program management offerings in conjunction with Cloudscaling's Open Cloud System (OCS), which is based on the OpenStack cloud project. The Cloudscaling OCS includes the company's Open Cloud Operating System, Hardware Reference Blueprints and CloudBlocks Architecture. Recently completed joint projects have included the design and development of multiple cloud environments for consumer access for the world's largest electronics company, as well as a cloud migration initiative with a major international telecommunications company. More specifically, Cloudscaling and cloudTP successfully completed the following initiatives with the telecommunication customer:

• Architected, designed and built its public and private clouds
• Built migration process to support movement of thousands of applications to its internal private cloud
• Leveraged state-of-the-art technologies and tools to automate and accelerate the migration process
• Piloted the successful migration of the first 400 servers, in under three months

As a result of this engagement, the client's IT staff gained invaluable cloud knowledge and was able to significantly accelerate time-to-market for its public cloud service offering.
