Club Curry Helps Kick-off September with '20s Themed Party to Benefit Hope House
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the unofficial end of summer, Club Curry is helping kick-off September in Kansas City with one of the biggest parties of the year. The '20s themed speakeasy is being held to benefit Hope House, a shelter that provides safety and services to survivors of domestic violence.
Prohibition-era entertainment will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, at Black on Burlington in North Kansas City. The Club Curry party will feature live entertainment by DJ Nick Ayler and emcee Michael Mackie. Guests will be treated to Aerialists, Flappers, M2, Blackjack, cigar rolling and plenty of famous 1920s cocktails.
"We are very excited for this year's event," said Travis Kelso, Club Curry spokesperson. "We believe everyone joining us for this event will enjoy this '20s-inspired theme, but at the end of the day, it's about bringing people together to benefit Hope House and helping them continue providing life-changing services for survivors of domestic violence."
"We are thrilled to be partnering once again with Club Curry for this exciting evening of entertainment," said Mary Anne Metheny, CEO of Hope House. "Club Curry's founder, Mark Curry, has been a great friend of Hope House and his charitable work is helping us provide vital services to survivors of domestic violence."
