CMAI Expands Global Business & Market Advisory Service Offerings with New Additions Around the World

HOUSTON, Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Chemical Market Associates, Inc. (CMAI) is pleased to announce the addition of two consultants to its global Business Advisory Service (BAS) and one to its global Market Advisory Service (MAS). Mukta Sharma, formerly with Nexant, joined CMAI on October 25, 2010. Tammy Lo, formerly with Nexant, joined CMAI on October 11, 2010. Rob Peacock, formerly of BRG and IAL, joined CMAI on October 25, 2010.

Mukta Sharma spent 17 years with BP Chemicals where she initially worked as a process engineer and then as a business controller before supporting Strategy and Planning at the BP Group Technology Function. Mukta was Planning & Performance Manager for the Polymers business through the sale of BP's Innovene business to Ineos. Mukta joined Nexant in 2008 and has worked on a wide variety of strategic engagements over the past 2 years. She holds a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London. Mukta will assume the role as Project Manager in the Business Advisory Services group and will be located at CMAI's London office where she joins her fellow Nexant colleagues Roger Green, Sean Stevenson and Helen Weeks.

Tammy Lo joins CMAI with nearly 5 years of industry experience, most recently at Nexant/Chem Systems, where she was involved in a wide range of commodity and specialty chemicals consulting activities spanning the North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East regions. Tammy's focus was on single client consulting and covered feasibility analyses, technical and commercial due diligence, and strategic planning. She has both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union in New York. Tammy will assume the position of Technical Research Associate in the Business Advisory Services group and will be located in CMAI's Valhalla, New York office.

Rob Peacock's early career was at Frost & Sullivan in their chemicals group as an analyst. For the past 8 years he has worked as an Associate Director for Business Research Group and was responsible for BRG's European Chemicals Group. Rob has particular expertise in the area of polyurethanes, specialty chemicals and materials and coatings contributing to both multi client reports and single client engagements. He holds a Chemical Engineering Degree from Bradford University. Rob will assume the role as an Aromatics Consultant in our Market Advisory Services sector and will be located in CMAI's London office.
