CoBank To Redeem Series A Preferred Stock And Series B Preferred Stock On October 1, 2012
DENVER, Aug. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CoBank, a cooperative bank serving agribusinesses, rural infrastructure providers and Farm Credit System associations throughout the United States, today announced that it will redeem all of its issued and outstanding shares of Series A Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Stated Value $50 Per Share ("Series A Preferred Stock") and Series B Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Stated Value $50 Per Share ("Series B Preferred Stock") on October 1, 2012.
Both the Series A Preferred Stock and Series B Preferred Stock will be redeemed at a redemption price of $50 together with accrued and unpaid dividends to the redemption date (less any applicable tax withholding as required by law). The redemption and paying agent for the redemption is American Stock Transfer & Trust Company, LLC ("AST").
