KAHULUI, Hawaii, July 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Code Rebel, LLC, a leading Mac Remote Desktop & Mac Desktop Virtualization software engineering company, today announced that it filed suit against Aqua Connect, Inc. in the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. In its Federal Lawsuit, Code Rebel, LLC, creator of the popular remote access software products iRAPP and iRAPP TS, alleges that Aqua Connect deliberately committed product disparagement (trade libel), disseminated misleading statements to consumers about Code Rebel products and used unfair business practices to injure Code Rebel's business, reputation, and trade. The Lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages, including attorney's fees.

This suit follows Code Rebel's successful dismissal of Aqua Connect's alleged trade secrets misappropriation claim by the same the Federal Court in 2012.
