PITTSBURGH, Feb. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA and an office in Naples, FL, is pleased to feature the works of Pittsburgh-based artist Tom Mosser in a new art exhibit at the C&G Gallery, located in the firm's Pittsburgh headquarters (EQT Plaza, 625 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA).

"The C&G Gallery has featured the works of many great artists from the Pittsburgh area, including Burton Morris," said Jack Elliot, president and CEO of Cohen & Grigsby. "Tom Mosser's style as an artist is distinct and captivating, and we are pleased to feature his work in C&G Gallery, which has evolved into a terrific resource for regional artists who are looking for a place to share their work with the public."
Mosser is an artist and illustrator who uses both hands to perfect a technique he calls "Ambidextrous Impressionism," which creates both stunning realistic and abstract work. He also employees a technique he invented for illustration called the "Loop" technique, which uses long, circular motions, emphasizing vertical blending strokes or lines. His works often feature sports and prominent sports figures as well as actors and cultural icons. Mosser's Blackbird Studios are located in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville neighborhood (3583 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15201).
The exhibition featuring the works of Tom Mosser is the latest example of Cohen & Grigsby's commitment to supporting arts and culture in western Pennsylvania. When the firm re-established its headquarters in the city's Cultural District in 2008, firm leaders decided that they would set aside Cohen & Grigsby's lobby area as an art gallery where local artisans could feature their works. To date, the firm has hosted several public art exhibitions featuring the work of local artists, and has partnered with organizations that include the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh.
Additionally, Cohen & Grigsby is now in the fourth year of a partnership with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust as the presenting sponsor of the "Trust Presents" series, which brings a diverse array of entertainment to Pittsburgh's Cultural District.
The works of Tom Mosser will be on display at C&G Gallery beginning on February 20, 2012. To make an appointment to view the exhibit, please call 412-297-4900.
