Smith is a senior level executive with nearly 20 years of experience leading sales teams at large enterprise-scale organizations. His experience is rooted in publicly traded companies, and he has also led teams at early stage and mid-sized companies.
Prior to CollabNet, Smith served as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Enterprise Success Officer at Whitehat Security, where he helped double sales in three years. He also held vice president of sales roles at GoGrid, EdgeWave, 3Com and FrontRange Solutions. He was a key member of the FrontRange executive team responsible for driving revenue up from $60 million to $130 million, which led to the company's successful sale.
