College App Developer eCampus Ventures Launches WeFunder Campaign for New JoinU App

CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- eCampus Ventures, a leading developer of apps for college students, today announced the launch of a WeFunder campaign to raise its first round of funding for its new on-campus social networking app, JoinU. eCampus Ventures is one of only 21 other companies featured in the exclusive WeFunder community, and the first-ever to be selected from the Southeast. The company plans to raise $500,000 through the campaign in order to expand development and promotion of JoinU ahead of its official launch in the Fall semester of 2014. Currently in Beta, the app already has more than 20,000 downloads to date.
