CollegeAmerica Continues Push to Award $6 Million in Scholarships in 2012
$1.5 Million in Scholarship Money Remains for Fourth Quarter, Prospective Students Encouraged to Apply
SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CollegeAmerica and its family of colleges (Stevens-Henager College, California College San Diego) a leading provider of on-campus and online higher education, today announced that it's on track to award several millions of dollars in scholarships to new students by the end of the year. Only $1.5 million in scholarship funds remains for the fourth quarter of 2012.
"We have seen tremendous interest in these scholarships. If you're thinking about continuing your education, now's your chance to take advantage of these programs," said Eric Juhlin, CollegeAmerica CEO. "These scholarship programs, specifically for adult learners, are designed to help students achieve their educational goals and get them on the path to better employment and greater opportunities."
This $6 million annual scholarship program has 14 new types of adult scholarships. Launched earlier this year, the scholarship awards are intended for new students looking to earn a degree for better career opportunities. Specific awards are available for single parents, professionals in the workforce, first-time college students, entrepreneurs, and students studying fields such as healthcare, nursing, IT and graphic arts.
Each campus in the CollegeAmerica family of college has a limited number of scholarship awards available each quarter – so this is the last chance for a new student to take advantage of this year's scholarships!
Scholarship programs are awarded to recipient students at each CollegeAmerica campus and the campuses of its sister schools, Stevens-Henager College and California College San Diego.
