Commercial Real Estate Services Firm Accelerates Ability to Collaborate, Eliminates Traditional Silos Around Tenant Representation and Corporate Solutions
SEATTLE, Aug. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Colliers International announced today the repositioning of its U.S. tenant representation and Corporate Solutions businesses to create a fully-integrated Occupier Services operating unit.
"This move accelerates our ability to collaborate and better serve our clients and, in turn, makes it easier for our clients to work with Colliers because we are eliminating the traditional silos the industry places around tenant representation brokerage and Corporate Solutions," said Craig Robinson, President | USA. "With a simplified organizational structure, we are able to leverage the company's occupier-focused talent and resources to drive even greater value for our clients and greater growth in our local markets."
As part of the service line integration, Scott Nelson will continue to lead Corporate Solutions across the Americas while taking on the expanded role in the U.S. as President, Occupier Services. In this capacity, Scott will be charged with driving growth and collaboration across Colliers' entire occupier client spectrum, ranging from tenant representation to full-service outsourcing, including Colliers 360 technology, portfolio and workplace consulting, lease administration, project management and facilities management.
A governance and strategic advisory board for Corporate Solutions has been formed, comprised of representative brokers and market leaders. This inaugural "Board of Directors" will be formed by Joe Cabrera (New York), Bob Chodos (Chicago), Bryan Johnson (Kansas City), David Kahnweiler (Chicago), Bob Mathews (Atlanta), Scott Nelson, Ron Perry (Boston) and Jay Sternberg (San Francisco). Each initial member has demonstrated industry leadership and played a key role in developing Colliers' occupier platform, client base and brand.
