Communicorp Receives Coveted ISO Quality Management System Certification
COLUMBUS, Ga., June 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Communicorp, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aflac Incorporated, announced today that the company has once again been awarded certification for its Quality Management System, having met the standard requirements set forth by the International Organization for Standards (ISO). ISO is the world's largest developer and publisher of International Standards. This latest certification means the company has officially transitioned from ISO 9001:2008 to the new version of the standard, ISO 9001:2015.

In March of this year, Steel Related Industries Quality System Registrar (SRI), an internationally recognized, accredited registrar, reviewed Communicorp's management system, resource planning initiatives, supplier programs, employee engagement solutions, and product and service delivery initiatives as part of their evaluation.
SRI vetted Communicorp on additional benchmarks like risk management and leadership commitment. After conducting a highly thorough and extensive review, SRI determined that Communicorp successfully met all of the rigorous requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and awarded certification of the Quality Management System.
