Community Financial Credit Union Goes Digital, Taking Its "MoneyMatter$" Newsletter Online
PLYMOUTH, Mich., June 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Community Financial Credit Union launched today, the new, online version of its quarterly "MoneyMatter$" newsletter.
Now available at www.cfcumoneymatters.org, the newsletter provides in-depth insight and tips on a wide array of financial topics from Community Financial Credit Union, as well as updates on community events and philanthropy with which the credit union is involved.
The newsletter was previously printed and mailed quarterly to residents across the communities Community Financial Credit Union serves - Plymouth, Canton, Northville and Novi; as well as Otsego, Montmorency and Alpena Counties.
"Residents in our communities, like most everywhere else, are getting more of their information online, so we wanted to reach them in a way that makes sense for them," said Sarah Cousineau, Community Financial marketing manager. "By producing and publishing our newsletter online, it decreases the amount of paper we use, as well as our printing and postage costs, which will allow us to reinvest those savings in our communities."
The initial online issue of MoneyMatter$ includes articles on the things to look for when getting a new credit card, tips on making sure your car is ready for a summer road trip and suggestions on getting ready for college. It also includes ideas for inexpensive summer family fun around town and a reminder to participate in Community Financial's "Summer of Sharing" program.
