ComparaOnline.com acquires CortaContas from Buscape Group and consolidates its entry to the Latin American market

SANTIAGO, Chile, March 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Latin America's main comparison site for financial products and Insurance, ComparaOnline.com, has signed a strategic Alliance agreement to operate in the Brazilian market with Buscape Company, Brazil's E-Commerce leader since 1999.

This agreement includes ComparaOnline.com's acquisition of Buscape's financial and Insurance-oriented comparison brand, CortaContas.com.br. Buscape will join the company's board of directors, providing ComparaOnline with important strategic knowledge  of the Brazilian industry.

ComparaOnline.com expects complete human resource and product merge between both companies by the end of 2013. "CortaContas has been leading the Brazilian lead generation market for four years.
