CompServices, Inc. in Production with StoneRiver's CompSuite for End-to-End Workers' Compensation Process Management
CSI deploys CompSuite to modernize workers' compensation environment and deliver enhanced customer experience
OAKLAND, Calif., April 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- StoneRiver, Inc., the trusted insurance technology partner with solutions across multiple business lines, today announced that CompServices, Inc. (CSI), a TPA and an affiliate of AmeriHealth Casualty Services, is now in production with StoneRiver's new CompSuite workers' compensation end-to-end system, including value-added solution sets for policy administration with billing, claims management, case management, and bill review. The migration to CompSuite required 4 months from project kick-off to production, with 250 CSI users now actively using the system.
CSI is a long-time StoneRiver client having previously implemented StoneRiver's original WCMS workers' compensation offering. Given its past positive experience and success with StoneRiver and the companies' shared vision of leveraging the latest in technology for the most efficient and cost effective management of workers' compensation business, CSI once again chose StoneRiver when it came time to extend and modernize its processing environment.
CSI was pleased with both StoneRiver and the underlying strengths and capabilities of the StoneRiver WCMS platform; however, they wanted to provide an upgraded user experience and take advantage of CompSuite's Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery. According to Lee Herzer, CSI's vice president of operations, "Our customers are very hands-on and expect easy access to up-to-date information, and insight into current claims status.
