Field Nation has developed an online resource – www.fieldnation.com/comptia – for contract IT service and support technicians that identifies job opportunities requiring CompTIA certifications.
Through this website IT professionals gain access to thousands of new jobs daily that require CompTIA certifications. The site is easily searchable by the certifications required, the type of work needed and the location of the job.
Employers can fill their temporary staffing needs by using Field Nation's flexible cloud-based program to post contractor positions to more than 35,000 skilled IT technicians. Once an employer posts a position and a finds a match, Field Nation makes it easy to manage both the contractor and the project from start to finish.
"As more organizations turn to contract talent for their IT needs, it's essential to put the best possible person in front of the customer," said Terry Erdle , executive vice president, skills certification, CompTIA. "One way to do that is to make sure the IT professionals are CompTIA-certified. We're pleased to expand our work with Field Nation to build on the strong skills and qualifications their service professionals already have."
The two organizations have worked collaboratively since 2011 when Field Nation joined the CompTIA A+® Certification Advisory Committee.
"We have enormous levels of respect for everything CompTIA does to support the IT industry and in particular, the technical professionals who make it tick," said Mynul Khan , founder and chief executive officer, Field Nation. "CompTIA works under the broad idea of 'Learn, Certify and Work.' We want to really help fulfill the 'work' portion of that mission."
