Smith, MD, PhD, Chief Medical and Science Officer of the West Wireless Health Institute, to testify at a Subcommittee hearing, Thursday, June 24, examining the use of innovative wireless health technologies to help redress barriers to health care for veterans living in rural areas.

The hearing, entitled, "Overcoming Rural Health Care Barriers: Use of Innovative Wireless Health Technology Solutions," will consider the benefits of wireless solutions that enable diagnosis, monitoring, and some forms of treatment to help patients no matter where they live or when they need care.
