Vegas Event Sets the Stage for Flagship Connected Car Expo at Los Angeles Auto Show Press & Trade Days Later This Year (Nov. 18-20)
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Connected Car Expo (CCE) posted its roster of companies and experts that will comprise this year's automotive delegation at what's expected to become one of the wireless association's most important annual gatherings, CTIA's Super Mobility Week in Las Vegas (Sept. 9-11).
As the automobile becomes the ultimate mobile device, CTIA tapped CCE to curate a signature automotive-focused pavilion and develop a thought-leadership program for its all-new trade event. A preview of what's to come to the Los Angeles Auto Show later this year (Nov. 18-20), CCE at Super Mobility Week will stage the following in Las Vegas:
- Sept. 8: Ford App Developer Conference (pre-show)
- Sept. 8-9: Ford Hackathon (pre-show)
- Sept. 9-11: Ford App Pursuit
- Sept. 9-10: CCE Conference (CTIA Mobile Talks)
- Sept. 9-11: CCE Exhibits Open (CCE Pavilion)
Featuring the latest connected car technologies and mobility solutions from Hertz Neverlost, Lixar, OnStar and Speaktoit, the CCE pavilion will become a stage for Ford Motor Company's inaugural app developer conference, followed by its overnight hackathon and app pursuit challenge.
Meanwhile, CCE's thought leadership discussions will be part of CTIA's MobileTalks, designed to examine the issues shaping the automotive and wireless industries across a broad range of connected car subjects. CCE will present the following programs during Super Mobility Week:
