The special Thanksgiving Banquet for 2,500 poor and homeless children, women and men and thousands of volunteers will begin at 10:00am on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 24, 2011. At 10:30am, on behalf of Father Maurice Chase, $500.00 will be distributed to the first 500 guests as a special tribute to Father Dollar Bill. Mayor Villaraigosa will arrive at 11:15 am for his traditional "Prayer for the City" and serving the poor the Thanksgiving Banquet. |
