TYSONS CORNER, Va., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Cordia Resources is thrilled to announce that Lori Becker has joined the firm as a Principal to help grow and lead Cordia Resources' Management Consulting practice. Lori has over 30 years' experience in the areas of finance, accounting/systems design and implementation. She has also been the CFO of multiple public and private companies in the DC area. Her CFO experience combined with her systems software and GovCon industry expertise, uniquely qualify her to consult and advise Cordia's clients and gives her an exceptional insight into solving the challenges CFO's face today.

Lori's background includes the successful sales of companies to prominent private equity firms, as well as completing complex "go private" and "carve-out" transactions. She has also spear-headed business process modernization projects across the functions of IT, contracts and procurement, accounting and financial reporting. In addition, she has an extensive knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting standards and federal acquisition regulations. Lori's career includes 9 years as a Deltek systems consultant and is considered a Costpoint subject matter expert. She is able to use her experience to help organizations get impactful results from their ERP systems for operations and analysis, as well as accounting. Her strong background allows her to be an excellent client resource for debating technical accounting issues as well as addressing systems architecture and contract pricing strategies.

Lori began her career as a senior auditor with Arthur Young (now E&Y) and her employment history includes companies such as Freddie Mac, BTG, Inc., Deltek Systems, Vangent (now GDIT), Akima, LLC and LMI.   Lori is a Certified Public Accountant and is licensed in the state of Virginia. She is also a member of the AICPA and VSCPA. Lori attended Illinois State University and has Bachelor of Science degrees in both accounting and business administration.
