CHICAGO, Jan. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- On January 7th CORE Health Centers, LLC: a distinguished outpatient, multi-disciplinary, weight management treatment center in the Chicago area, officially changed its name to Inspire Health. The change to Inspire Health more accurately reflects its mission of providing effective psychological and physiological treatments for healthy weight loss and management. Sometimes a change in diet or exercise is not enough no matter what you do, or there are other difficulties in the way that require a comprehensive approach.

Inspire Health's staff provide treatment with a broad scope of psychological and physiological services. Unique treatment plans are created for each person and can include: individual therapy, group therapeutic programming, metabolic testing, medical nutrition services and fitness assessments complete with an exercise prescription. When beneficial, Inspire also provides medications prescribed by a Board-Certified M.D. which can suppress appetite, reduce fat absorption or help control behavior, and Optifast meal replacements.

Inspire was created in December of 2009 by internationally recognized psychologists, physiologists and psychiatrists who are also practicing clinicians.
