Corporate Lawyer Gang Yuan Joins Miller Canfield's Expanding China Practice
NEW YORK, Aug. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that lawyer Gang Yuan has joined the firm in its New York City office in the Corporate Group. He will focus his practice on global M&A transactions, foreign direct investment and regulatory issues, especially in the oil and gas industry. He will continue representing Chinese, North American and European companies as they expand globally.
Mr. Yuan joins Miller Canfield from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where he was counsel and head of its Energy and Natural Resources team in Beijing, China. He has spent the past eight years in the China offices of global firms, including Freshfields, the former Dewey & LeBoeuf, as well as Weil Gotshal.
