SAN FRANCISCO, May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Correlate Analytics, creator of the Correlate Business Intelligence Platform (Correlate) has signed an agreement with Lockheed Martin Desktop Solutions, Inc. (LMDSI) to resell the Correlate platform to the U.S. Congress and beyond.
Dan Beckmann, founder of Correlate and sister company IB5k said, "We are very proud to announce this exciting new partnership. With LMDSI's service to the U.S. Congress and in government organizations throughout the land, more elected officials will know what 'we the people' have been trying to tell them."
Correlate allows users to analyze email and paper correspondence based on bill number, topic area and geographic region in real time as the correspondence enters each congressional office. The platform also determines whether an office is receiving a bulk email campaign versus individual letters from specific constituents.
Effective immediately, this partnership allows LMDSI to sell Correlate throughout the U.S. Congress. Beginning in late 2014, the Correlate platform will be fully integrated into LMDSI's marquee product, Intranet Quorum (IQ). This integration will offer IQ users several improved functionalities including greater mail sorting abilities as well as industry-leading social media analytics.
While the Correlate platform was originally developed for use in government settings, the flexibility of the software allows it to be used in a variety of industries within the private sector as well. "We started Correlate as a way to help legislators have productive, meaningful conversations with their constituents," said Tom Hallaran, co-founder and chief architect of Correlate. "We're finding out that there is a need to understand what customers want in all types of organizations. We want to help these organizations hear what their customers are saying and then react to their needs."
