Craft Beer Delivery Company Honors Veterans With Partnership To Raise Donations
CraftHounds Partners with Paralyzed Veterans of America
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CraftHounds, an online craft beer marketplace for on-demand or scheduled delivery, announced today their partnership with Paralyzed Veterans of America as part of a veteran focused campaign, "Raise a Glass. Salute Our Veterans." Through the company's extensive network of breweries and bottle shop partners, CraftHounds is leveraging the support of the craft beer community to create a positive force far beyond the convenience of on-demand delivery. For each order placed between February 1 – March 1, 2017 that contains a product from one of their partner breweries, CraftHounds will donate $1.00 to Paralyzed Veterans of America's Mission: ABLE campaign to ensure veterans receive what they've earned and deserve: care, jobs and benefits.
With more than 42,000 American veterans living with spinal cord-related paralysis, Paralyzed Veterans of America's mission is to create an America where our most severely injured heroes are provided the physical care needed to live a healthy life; receive the benefits they've earned through military service; and obtain job training and opportunities for new and fulfilling careers.
"Paralyzed Veterans of America is pleased to be a part of CraftHounds' endeavor to unite communities in support of our veterans," said National President Al Kovach, Jr. "Our members comprise the most catastrophically injured veterans in the nation, and the donations raised through this program will help us provide services to them, their families, and their caregivers at no cost to them. We thank CraftHounds for partnering with us to provide such a unique and streamlined opportunity for communities to honor veterans."
Director of Marketing, Adam Gendler, says "By CraftHounds bringing together breweries, bottle shops, and craft beer lovers across the city, together we can use our community's collective power to be a positive driving force for those that have selflessly protected our freedom." Gendler went on to say, "This is a great opportunity for all of us to give back by enjoying our favorite beer, while offering these heroes a token of our immeasurable respect and appreciation. We are really excited to partner with Paralyzed Veterans of America in their efforts."
