Bordeaux Wines Is Bridging The Online & Offline With New Interactive Digital Campaign
NEW YORK, Sept. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, CreativeFeed, lead digital agency for the world's top wine brands, in collaboration with The Bordeaux Wine Council, le Conseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux, has launched "Bordeaux In Your City," a new interactive and educational digital campaign. The initiative is a first of its kind program that leverages food and wine influencers, Bordeaux wine enthusiasts on social media as well as regional retailers, bridging the gap between online activation and offline sales. With an interactive new landing page, connected directly to the U.S. Bordeaux Wines homepage, the campaign enables and educates those who are interested in learning more about Bordeaux Wines – and locates the top retailors to buy them. The website shows consumers the top places to buy wine in the following cities: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, and Miami, as well as a few select online retailers (Astor Wines, JJ Buckley, K&L, Wine.com, Zachy's, amongst others.

Five bloggers, from the five priority cities of the program, were selected to participate in the program to taste Bordeaux Wines from local retailors. They were asked to select their top picks from the participating retailors. Bordeaux Wines also identified their 15 biggest "fans," those individuals who have the most interaction with Bordeaux Wines on social media platforms, to participate in the initiative. The fans were also asked to give their favorite selections from participating stores. All selections and tasting notes are accessible on the landing page. The objective of this challenge was to utilize actual fans of Bordeaux wines as well as food and wine influencers to identify their favorite Bordeaux wines available in their city based on their personal preferences versus a more conventional wine scoring/rating system.
