CHICAGO, Oct. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Credico was among a handful of Chicago-based sponsors who helped raise money at a charity golf outing earlier this month. A small group of Credico employees traveled to Michigan for Children's Home + Aid's 13th Annual Lost Dunes Golf Event.
Credico was proud to help sponsor the golf outing in support of Children's Home + Aid's mission to improve the lives of Illinois' most vulnerable children, youth and families.
"We believe in Children's Home + Aid mission and we will take every opportunity to support them," said Jean Broaddus, chief client services officer for Credico North America. "Although we aren't all avid golfers, our commitment to community and social issues outweighs our lack of talent," she joked.
Eighty golfers played 18 holes on the 6,900-yard, par-71 Lost Dunes course and raised more than $165,000 for children and families in the Chicago area.
Over its 13-year run, the golf outing has raised nearly $1.6 million toward Children's Home + Aid's mission. Credico continues to support Children's Home + Aid year-round through sponsorships and by raising awareness for its services in underprivileged communities.
