Credo Reference Named "Best Overall" by Library Journal

NEW YORK, Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The magazine "considered the bible of the library world" recently selected Credo Reference (http://credoreference.com) as the "best overall reference database," besting well-known and respected competitors like Gale/Cengage and Thomson Reuters.  In addition to the top recognition, the magazine praised Credo Topic Pages as "awesome" and their "Mind Map" tool for "helping students visualize their topic and identify keywords."

For the selection, Library Journal, widely recognized as the leading trade publication among librarians and library publishers, convened a panel of expert librarians and reviewers to determine the 'best of breed' in online reference.  In the November 15, 2011 issue the results were published and Credo Reference was selected as "Best Overall" among all the resources evaluated.
