Crescent Resources Starts Chapel Cove Amenity Center

CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Crescent Resources, LLC will begin site work this month for an upscale amenity center at Chapel Cove – a master-planned community off Shopton Road West on the banks of Lake Wylie. The facility is expected to open in spring of 2013.

The 5-acre site will feature a clubhouse, three tennis courts, a pickleball court, a playground and a junior Olympic-sized pool with an attached splash pool for children. The center will also include a pool deck with multiple lounge areas, activity lawn, walking trails, and a canoe and kayak storage area by the lake. 

"We're building a first-class amenity center for the residents of Chapel Cove in the heart of the community," said Creighton Call , project manager. "It will be a place for neighbors to connect and families to enjoy life in a peaceful, lakeside setting."

The 5,400-square-foot clubhouse will include a club room and two fitness rooms. Almost 2,100 square feet of covered outdoor porches will surround the building. The clubhouse, which is designed to host a variety of community events, will also feature a kitchen, office, restrooms and storage areas.

Crescent Resources opened Chapel Cove in 2007 across from its other Lake Wylie community, the Sanctuary. A 5-minute drive from I-485, Chapel Cove offers large wooded homesites accented by pathways that wind through pocket parks. Homesites for custom homes are available, and homes built in the community are governed by the community's existing covenants and architectural guidelines. Current home prices start in the $290s.
