CRG Launches Redesigned FuzziBunz® Adjustable Cloth Pocket Diapers Designed for Better Fit and Performance from Birth to Toddlerhood
Company says its focus is to provide the highest quality and best performing cloth diapers
LAFAYETTE, La., Aug. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The makers of FuzziBunz® modern cloth diapers today unveil the long awaited redesign of its adjustable cloth pocket diapers.
FuzziBunz®, a pioneer name in cloth diapering, returns anew under the stewardship of Louisiana-based CRG, llc. This product launch is the first of a series, which will result in a complete redesign of the existing diaper product line and several new and innovative diaper products.
Today's launch reveals two new versions of the FuzziBunz® adjustable diapers:
The One Size – Small fits comfortably on children from 7-lb infants to 30-lb toddlers.
The One Size – Large fits comfortably on children from 10-lb infants to 45-lb toddlers.
"We worked on this design for over nine months," says Roy Couvillion, CRG co-owner and product design engineer. "We examined the evolution of the FuzziBunz® design and considered feedback from many users. It became obvious that one size does not fit all. Some parents preferred the original trim, narrow cut, while some preferred the larger, wider design. We also examined fit and function both as separate and inter-dependent issues and made structural changes in sewing, snap and button locations, reinforcement fabrics, geometry, etc. Together, these changes improve fit, durability and performance."
When asked about fit, Couvillion says the most common spontaneous comment from moms when they try the diaper is, "Wow! I can't believe how well this diaper fits!"
The new FuzziBunz® One Size diapers are designed to fit a child from birth to toddlerhood. Most children will be able to potty train out of either one of the diapers parents choose.
According to Neil and Kendall Broussard, diapering family and FuzziBunz® testers, the new FuzziBunz® One Size "…has the greatest degree of adjustability and…retains fluid better during periods of high mobility or compression." They concluded that the new design is, "Easier to adjust, better to fit, performs better, and is much easier to stuff."
Kim Rosa, a cloth diaper blogger and founder of DirtyDiaperLaundry.com, says, "The innovative brand that introduced pocket diapers is back. The new One-Size diapers took the best qualities of the older FuzziBunz diapers but with incredible attention paid to their design, sizing, and consistency. To my knowledge, no other brand has gone to such lengths in order to fine tune their product before coming to market," says Rosa. "The best part is they (FuzziBunz) work and fit great!"
Along with the launch of its new diapers, CRG also reveals a new brand image and a renewed commitment to helping moms worry less about diapers, giving them more time to enjoy motherhood.
Company spokesperson, Jeni Couvillion, says, "Our desire is to create the best performing cloth diaper. We want our customers to be able to spend more time enjoying all the special moments that come along with this precious time in a family's life."
FuzziBunz® retailers and users, Holly Walker and Callie Willis of Lafayette Moms and Babies in Lafayette, LA, say, "You can see that FuzziBunz really cares about the fit and performance of the diaper for the sake of a child and his or her parents. I've seen the thought and effort that went into these diapers and believe FuzziBunz® will soon again be our best-selling cloth diaper."
