Industry Visionaries to Discuss Best Practices in Enterprise-to-Cloud Migration and SOA Threat Defense

BOSTON and BERLIN, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Crosscheck Networks, Inc. today announced that CEO Mamoon Yunus and CTO Jason Macy will participate in two sessions, and the company will showcase its simulation, testing, and security product suite in Booth # 13, at the International SOA & Cloud Symposium. The third and second annual co-located events, designed to explore modern service technologies and best practices, will take place October 5-6 in Berlin, Germany.

In "Requirements for Extending Enterprise SOA to Public Clouds," Yunus will examine federated SOA as the foundation for a robust enterprise-to-cloud governance platform, and extending to public clouds as a logical evolution of enterprise infrastructure. Also, on Tuesday, October 5 at 2:15 p.m. CEST Macy will present "SOA Threat Modelling: Attacking and Defending REST, XML and SOAP-based Services." For successful services-based application integration projects, ease-of-system integration without compromising security is paramount. However, typical enterprise threat analysis focuses on network security, but lacks knowledge of REST, XML or SOAP. As such, during this session, Macy will discuss how to identify SOA security threats including SQL Injection, Denial of Service, SwA Malware and XSD Mutation. Additionally, attendees will learn counter-measure techniques for effectively mitigating risk exposure.
