Crum & Forster Hires George Burr as Vice President, California Workers' Compensation Claims

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Jan. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Crum & Forster (C&F) announced today that it has hired George Burr as Vice President, California Workers' Compensation Claims. Mr. Burr will manage C&F's West Coast workers' compensation claims office located in Orange County, California.  

Mr. Burr brings extensive workers' compensation claims experience to Crum & Forster, most recently serving as Vice President, Claims Operations for Seabright Insurance Company with responsibility for their Western Claims Division. Mr. Burr began his insurance career as a workers' compensation claims adjuster with Safeco Insurance, and subsequently held a number of management roles at Safeco including responsibility for field and home office workers' compensation claim technical functions. Mr. Burr received a B.S. in Business Administration from Chapman University.

Mr. Burr reports to Stephen Eisenmann, Senior Vice President, Claims. Mr. Eisenmann commented: "We are excited to have someone with George's knowledge and experience in workers' compensation claims heading up our West Coast claims operation.
