ORANGE, Calif., April 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cryogenic Systems & Parts™, a privately-held, leading manufacturer and servicer of rubber deflashing machinery, has announced the retirement of its founder and president Stacy M. Morgan as of December 31, 2016. Jeff Walter, who purchased the 30-year-old company on January 1, 2017, has assumed the role of president.
Morgan started CSP™ out of his garage in the mid-1980s, taking three years to build his first machine. Over the last three decades, CSP has become a leader in the industry with distribution centers all over the world.
"I am so proud of the legacy of this company," outgoing CSP President Stacy Morgan said. "Our machines are simple, bulletproof, and built to last."
New owner and President Jeff Walter graduated with a business degree from California State University, Fullerton, and has spent a decade in manufacturing focused on similar global products. An Orange County native with a strong mechanical background, Walter got connected with Morgan through mutual acquaintances and made a great impression.
"Jeff is the ideal person to lead CSP," Morgan said. "I have every confidence he will continue producing world-class equipment and providing exceptional service to our customers."
Walter said preserving CSP's legacy is extremely important to him. "CSP will maintain its status as a worldwide industry leader by continuing to focus on a quality manufacturing process and building the best cryogenic deflashing machines in the industry," said Walter. "We will always strive to provide the best solution for our customers."
