CSPC Releases Recommendations to Remedy Nation's Critical Challenges
First Panel Examines Challenges to Nation's Fiscal/Economic Health and How to Overcome Partisanship in Washington; Second Panel Broadens Discussion on Strategic Planning and Investment for Future Generations.
WASHINGTON, March 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In a discussion moderated by Carl Cannon, The Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC) will roll out its report, "Prosperity or Decline? Breaking Washington's Deadlock To Save America's Future."
For the last 18 months, CSPC has been conducting a bipartisan comprehensive study, the Strengthening America's Future Initiative (SAFI), to help tackle the same issues with which Congress and the Administration have been struggling. CSPC put these same issues in front of our bipartisan group of luminaries -- former Ambassadors, Members of Congress, Governors, Business leaders, Academics -- and our recommendations, aimed at educating people both inside Washington and outside the beltway, demonstrate that bipartisan solutions can be found and government can work if politicians can set aside partisanship and work together.
