CU Times Names the Latest Industry Women to Watch

WASHINGTON, March 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CU Times recently recognized its Women to Watch honorees during a reception, sponsored by NewGround, during CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference. Women to Watch recognizes women challenging the status quo and pushing creative solutions to address issues at their credit union or for the community as a whole.

Female CEOs dominate the less-than-$50 million in assets credit unions, but the roles are switched higher up the ranks. A recent Executive Compensation Solutions survey found that the average female CEO's salary was $178,080 in 2013, compared to $172,756 in 2012. Comparatively, the average male CEO's salary was $223,834 in 2013, up from $208,231 in 2012.
