CU's Leeds School Of Business' Women's Council Announces Date and Location of WILD Summit
Women Inspiring Leadership Development (WILD) Summit IV offers a one-of-a-kind venue where professional women can network with students, inspire leadership, learn from each other, and share their wisdom
BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business Women's Council, is excited to announce its Women Inspiring Leadership Development (WILD) Summit IV event will be held on April 1, 2016 at the Marriott Hotel in Westminster, CO. The Women's Council was established six years ago with the intention of bringing Front Range women together to support each other, as well as the students at CU's Leeds School of Business.
Now in its fourth year, the WILD Summit is an event where women can share their thoughts, struggles, challenges and successes, as they discover how they can help each other as individuals and as a community.
"WILD provides a forum for sharing ideas and making connections for women of all ages and industries in our community," said Julie Imig, chair of the 2016 WILD Summit. "We have heard from a variety of past attendees – from students to retirees – about how they have put to practical use the ideas and connections they made at WILD. Many of the more than 50 volunteers who are making WILD happen this year attended for the first time in 2015 and felt compelled to keep WILD strong."
The theme for this year's summit is IMPACT! "How can we impact the things we care about – our businesses, our teams, our community? What works? How do we measure it? These are some of the questions that will spark conversations leading attendees to feel, think and act differently," said Imig.
The WILD Summit IV will take place on April 1, 2016 at the Marriott Hotel in Westminster, CO. Further details will be available soon. For more information on the Women's Council and the WILD Summit, please visit (http://leedswomenscouncil.org/wild-2016.html).
