Custom Home Designer and Builder Announces New Book and Service Offering to Help Homeowners Navigate the Challenges of Building or Renovating a Home
SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Creative Building Corporation (CBC) will launch a new service that will be available to customers nationwide beginning in 2018. Troy Stallings, one of the co-founders of CBC, said he is determined to continue to provide thought leadership in the building industry by helping to eliminate some of the obstacles that make building a new home or renovating an existing one an often very difficult and frustrating experience.
"I've been a contractor for over 20 years. I've had more good experiences than bad ones, but over time I realized that what I've learned can be very helpful to people looking to build a new home or renovate an existing one," says Stallings.
Stallings has just finished writing a book - "The Owners Success System to Home Construction." The idea behind the book came as a result of a conversation he had with a friend of his. She had been through a really frustrating two-year renovation project and she simply said, "Troy, you need to do this. "People can't be expected to understand all aspects of construction, yet when they build or renovate without an advocate, they are put in a difficult position to do just that," said Troy. He believes his book and new service offering will be a welcomed approach not only for clients but builders as well. "I actually think builders will appreciate the book as a tool and my role as an advocate because it will help eliminate confusion, set realistic expectations and keep projects running on time and on budget, which ultimately leads to the best possible outcome for everyone."
Stallings also says his book can help ease stress and bring some fun back into the process. He acknowledges that most people are just too busy to really enjoy the journey. "It can get really stressful and things can fall apart fast." He says having an advocate, someone who's only job is to look out for you, changes the game. "Even if you have hired a reputable builder and designer, it never hurts to have an added layer of protection to make sure your best interests are being served."
