CVS Launches National Sale of MigraineX
The Migraine Relieving Plugs will be Sold in CVS Stores Beginning March 31
COLD SPRING HARBOR, N.Y. and NEW YORK, March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cirrus Healthcare Products, makers of the best-selling pressure relief earplugs EarPlanes, today announced their latest patent pending product, MigraineX will be available in CVS stores beginning March 31.
MigraineX is the world's first solution to the number one trigger of migraine headaches: weather barometric change. The MigraineX plugs are to be used with the official MigraineX mobile app, which is available for free in the iTunes store and Google Play or by scanning the QR code on the back of the MigraineX box you purchase. The mobile app will provide you with alerts for 24 hours, including when to use MigraineX. To use the plugs, place and pull the top of your ear upward with one hand while using the other hand to carefully insert ribbed end of the device snuggly into the ear. It's simple, disposable and easy to use.
According to a clinical study by the Princeton Consumer Research, MigraineX provides relief for migraine and headache symptoms for 81% of sufferers when paired with regular migraine medication. Based on a study by Cirrus Healthcare, the top cities with the highest barometric pressure include the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut tristate area, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and Dallas.
"We are thrilled to have MigraineX available in CVS," says Drew O'Connell, CEO of Cirrus Healthcare. "What separates MigraineX from other migraine relief medications is using medication-only focuses on relieving symptoms after a headache starts. The best defense against migraines is to prevent the pressure before it starts. Our longtime customers who use EarPlanes know to use our products before take offs and landings. We are confident new customers will find MigraineX to be a great reliever from weather-related migraines."
Based on the global success of EarPlanes, MigraineX was created for longer wear by making the plugs softer and adjusted for land usage. Cirrus Healthcare suggests applying MigraineX when either receiving barometric weather alerts or the onset of symptoms.
MigraineX will be available at CVS for $11.99. For more information including which CVS stores will carry MigraineX, visit www.migrainex.net.
