Hires Christopher Weekes and Stephen Nash to Lead New Group

NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dahlman Rose & Company, LLC, a leading investment bank specializing in the global natural resources supply chain, announced today the firm's official launch of its OTCQX Markets Group. Christopher Weekes and Stephen Nash have both been appointed as Managing Directors and Co-Heads of the new division.

Host to more than 300 issuers worldwide with a collective market capitalization of more than one trillion dollars, the OTCQX is an innovative U.S. marketplace for the trading of securities of established foreign and domestic issuers. Prior to joining Dahlman Rose, Mr. Weekes was Managing Director and Head of the Institutional Equity Sales and Trading at Madison Williams. He has over 10 years of experience in the equity markets, providing expert advice to institutional and corporate clients in the areas of trading, capital markets and OTCQX Advisory.  Mr. Weekes was also a Senior Institutional Sales Trader at Oppenheimer & Co. and CIBC World Markets, and began his career at LaBranche Financial Services in its Institutional Execution Group.

Mr. Nash has been a leader in the evolution of the OTCQX market in the U.S. Both prior to and after the market launch in 2007, Mr. Nash worked closely with market founders and has contributed significantly to the market's growth by adding quality companies and developing best practices for advisors that sponsor their listings. Prior to joining Dahlman Rose, Mr. Nash was Managing Director and Head of Madison Williams and Merriman Holdings' OTCQX Advisory Group and was responsible for managing the firms' OTCQX business development efforts.
