Dallas' Spencer Law P.C. Adds Brendan Patrick Harvell, Boosts Expertise in Fiduciary Litigation, Probate, Estate, Guardianship Law
DALLAS, May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Attorney Brendan Patrick Harvell, who graduated at the top of his class from South Texas College of Law, has joined Dallas-based Spencer Law, P.C., boosting the firm's expertise in probate matters, estate law, guardianships and fiduciary litigation.
"Brendan's credentials coming out of law school and his effective legal representation and strong advocacy for clients make him a great addition to Spencer Law," says firm founder Kevin Spencer. "Like all the attorneys and staff at our firm, Brendan knows that our clients play a central role in creating a strong legal case."
Before joining Spencer Law, Mr. Harvell served as a judicial intern at the 14th Court of Appeals in Houston and at the Harris County District Attorney's Office. More recently, Mr. Harvell clerked for the national law firm Berg & Androphy in Houston, where he researched and reviewed significant federal whistleblower cases.
During law school, Mr. Harvell was a member of the South Texas Law Review, and served as a Vice-Justice for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He also volunteered his time as a student instructor through the Langdell Scholar Program.
Mr. Spencer and the firm's other attorneys regularly guide clients through the estate administration process by helping them properly handle their fiduciary roles, and providing advice on the potential liabilities that often confront estate executors. The attorneys at Spencer Law also help clients navigate Texas' unique probate court system, including matters in statutory probate courts, which are specialized courts with primary jurisdiction over decedents' estates, guardianships and, in many cases, trusts.
Dallas-based Spencer Law, P.C., delivers high-quality, personal service for clients in estate administration and litigation matters, trust contests, guardianship contests, fiduciary matters and the defense of wills and trusts. Spencer Law attorneys help clients reach solutions to difficult and complicated estate litigation matters, and are ready anytime to go to trial if cases are not concluded by settlement or other agreement.
