Mr. Boykin is passionate about providing professional training and development to his financial advisers so that they have a realistic work-life balance and has written a soon to be published book on the subject called A Joyful Balanced Life.
At the core of his personal philosophy and book, he wants advisers to be happy and to keep growing. He adds, "I want to encourage and empower them to break through barriers and meet their potential. Making money is only one part of what it takes to increase retention and build a dynamic office. After that, the next part is that they have a balanced life on a personal level that allows them to maintain strong family and professional relationships."
Foresters Financial has plans to hire 20-30 Representatives in the first year of launching the new Orlando office with a long-term goal of establishing an effective roster of more than 100 seasoned advisers.
Orlando was a natural selection for Foresters Financial to open the new office because of the region's vibrant community of working families and retirees who could benefit from financial services guidance such as retirement planning, life insurance coverage, mutual fund investing and annuity products. The opening of the Orlando office is part of a larger Foresters Financial corporate initiative to expand its retail footprint in North America, which currently includes another recent office opening in Oklahoma City (July 18, 2016).
