MIAMI, Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- David Drucker and Joel Bruckenstein, producers of the 8th Annual "T3" Technology Tools for Today™ Conference to be held at the Hilton Miami Downtown from February 11-13, 2013, today announced the preliminary T3 2013 conference agenda and initial details of their new book, Technology Tools for a High-Margin Practice, due out February 6, 2013.
New this year at the T3 conference are sessions covering estate planning for digital assets, tips and tools to incorporate healthcare planning into long term financial planning, and navigating new computer operating systems for Macs and PCs.
"The T3 Conference in 2013 will also include our 'What's New In ...' series," said Dave Drucker, who for over a decade has worked with Joel Bruckenstein to produce the T3 Technology Tools for Today newsletter and the T3 conferences. "In 2013 we will cover essential technology tools—everything from financial planning and CRM software to document and portfolio management systems and rebalancing software. The vast array of sessions we will offer at the 8th annual T3 Technology Tools for Today conference will put attending advisors on the leading edge, with the latest and greatest technology and practice management solutions for their financial services business."
This year also marks ten years since the publication of the seminal book on technology for financial advisory firms, Virtual Office Tools for a High Margin Practice. "The good news is that Wiley / Bloomberg came back and asked us to write an entirely new book on technology and practice management tools for advisors," said Joel Bruckenstein, who co-authored both the original and the new book with David Drucker.
Technology Tools for Today's High Margin Practice will be released in February 2013. To pre-order, click here. "It is an excellent reference book for any firm looking to improve its operations and margins," said Charles Goldman, CFP®, co-founder, Advizent. "David and Joel have assembled some of the most knowledgeable people in our industry who shine the light on a broad range of technology and operational topics. The format of the book is easy to read and the coverage of each topic is extensive. This book is a must-have reference for firms of all sizes."
"Since the new book will be out just in time for the 2013 T3 Conference, we thought that attendees might like to hear from some of the contributing authors," Bruckenstein continued. "Impressive people like Lou Stanasolovich, Marie Swift, Davis Janowski, Dan Skiles, Bob Curtis, Linda Strachan, Mike Kelly, Jon Patullo, Bill Winterberg, JD Bruce, Jennifer Goldman, Tim Welsh, and Bart Wisniowski. Accordingly, one of the conference tracks will include some of the book's contributing authors who will address hot topics such as the use of digital signatures, marketing technology, social media and websites, CRM selection, custodial integrated platforms, outsourcing, the future of financial planning, cloud computing, and understanding the return on technology investments."
The conference will be preceded by a day of pre-conference sessions and, as in years past, an Ethics program will be offered (through which attendees earn 2 hours continuing education).
